Will it heat my whole house?
No, and we would rather say so. At 400 W this is a personal heater: it warms the space you are sitting in. The supplier rates it for rooms up to 10 m², which is a small office or a bathroom. For a whole house you want central heating.
Is it safe to leave running?
It shuts itself off at 90 °C. As with any heater, keep it clear of curtains, bedding and paper, and switch it off when you leave the room.
Is it quiet?
It has a fan, rated at 60 dB, roughly the level of a conversation. You will hear it in a silent room.
Will it run up my electricity bill?
It draws 400 W, around a quarter of a typical 1500 W space heater. Heating one desk costs far less than heating a whole house, but it is still electricity.
